What more could you ask for at the start of a holiday weekend?  THDA announces income limit increases and rate decreases.  The income limits for the Knoxville MSA will rise to $59,700 for 1-2 person households and $68,655 for 3+ person households.  THDA Great Rate program drops to a 30 year fixed rate of 4.6%.

In June of 2007 there were over 17,000 loan officers (non-depository) registered with the State of Tennessee.  Licensing requirements came into effect last year, with a deadline of July 31^st of this year for the completion of education requirements, state and national testing requirements, and a requirement to submit to criminal background checks.  As of early this week, with barely 30 days left, only 1824 loan officers are fully licensed within the state of Tennessee.

I am happy to say that I have completed all of my requirements and will still be doing loans on August 1^st.  Have you checked with other lenders about their qualifications?  Do you have loans scheduled to close after the 31^st of July?  If a non-depository loan officer is not licensed as of July 31^st their loans will not be closing. Start with quality and close on time.
